GENERAL PERFORMANCE OF CANDIDATES
Generally, performance was below average. This could be attributed to lack of
adequate preparation by the candidates. Performance at various centres appeared to
be the same. There was no similarity of answers to suggest any possible
copying. |

STANDARD OF THE PAPER
The standard of the paper was the same as previously administered ones. The
questions were spread well enough to cover all areas of the syllabus. The amount of
work (the relevant workings and the final answer) required by questions was
commensurate with the allotted time and marks. The questions were standard for
this level of examination. Generally the questions were clear in their requirements |
